Covid-19, what are we doing?

It is optional whether masks are worn. We adhere to whichever facility we practice in, and any leagues or tournaments we participate in to determine our mask usage. We keep hand sanitizers, wipes, and thermometers available (e.g., if a player falls ill or appears sick, we can check to ensure there is no fever). If anyone has a temperature of 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit or higher, they are to leave the location. If someone in our family gets COVID-19 or is in contact with someone who does, we follow the CDC rules on quarantining. Appropriate etiquette will keep our families safe.

joining p.g. thunder BASKETBALL

Families can sign-up their player with any P.G. Thunder Team through our website that matches the age-grade combination.  Go to our “Teams” Section and see which team to join. Fill out the details that appear once you click on the “Sign Up” button. Once your information is received, we will contact you and recommend how to proceed. Families are encouraged to attend a couple of basketball practices before enrolling their player in the P.G. Thunder Basketball Program. We always want players and their families to determine if our organization is the best place to be or the best “fit.”

tryouts

Tryouts happen periodically, and if we have them, you can register your player(s) on our site. Our “tryouts” are not what you would typically consider a tryout. It is “us” getting to know each other (coaches, players, and families) while your player participates in the “tryout”. We always want players and their families to be comfortable with our organization and what we have to offer.

PLAYER ELIGIBILITY

All players will play in their respective teams based on age-grade combinations. Because we develop athletes on various skill-levels, his level is not an eligibility factor. If you want your player to play on a team with a higher skill & grade-level, coaches will determine the outcome. Players can participate in our basketball program once attending practices and games are attainable.
